Natural Ways To Treat Dark Skin Areas


There are numerous reasons to why you get dark patches of skin in certain. Whatever the reasons maybe, you don’t like the colour misbalance in your skin. It looks ugly and you hate it. It is possible you get sun burns on your skin but you can’t stop going out, can you? If you notice that your skin is darker in the pubic area, i.e. in your groin area and in between your legs, then it is likely that you have Acanthosis Nigricans.
Dark skin in rest of your body is fine but if you have that in your pubic area then it can be a sign of some serious illness and issues.
It is recommended you visit some specialist to treat this. However some natural tips are given below to lighten the dark patches of skin in different parts of your body.
1. Cucumbers.
Cucumbers have amazing lightening properties which is really good for your skin. Cucumbers and your skin have the same level of hydrogen which becomes helpful to cure all the skin problems. It not just helps in lightening you skin but also in smoothening and softening it. To have better effect on your skin, it is suggested to mix some lime juice and a pinch of turmeric with smashed cucumbers and gently massage the affected areas with it. Leave it to dry and the wash it off. Another simple option is to cut slices of cucumbers and just rub it on the affected parts. This can be done daily. You will surely have amazing results.

2. Aloe Vera.
Aloe Vera is used in almost every skin treatment. It is a blessing to the science of beauty. Aloe Vera juice helps to whiten one’s skin and cures discoloured areas. Aloe Vera contains a lot of elements to repair skin cells and it is healthy to prevent cancer. Don’t worry about the availability because it can be grown and maintained easily even in your kitchen garden. It is very simple to use. All you need to do is pluck a leaf from the plant and peel off the skin. You will get the gel inside. Apply that gel in the darkened area and leave it for 20 minutes. After that, wash it with water and it is done. Repeat it daily for better results.

3. Lemon
Lemon, just like Aloe Vera, is an all-rounder for skin problems. It helps to remove dead skin cells and brightens the skin. It is also good for curing dark skin spots. Besides the dark skin in your pubic area, you might have dark spots on your knees and elbows. You can lighten those areas by cutting half a lemon and rubbing it on the affected areas, leave it for 20 minutes and then wash it ff. Lemon is rich in vitamin C which will give you even skin tone. You can also apply lemon juice mixed with little coconut water. This will give you a clear and glowing skin.

4. Baking Soda.
Baking soda is a chemical compound and reacts very quickly. It is a very handy and inexpensive exfoliating agent. Take 3 spoons of baking soda and one spoon of rose water and make a thick paste. Apply the paste on the affected areas and let it set on your skin. Once it starts drying, gently rub your skin. After that wash it off with lukewarm water and you will see the effect. To get better results, you can repeat this process twice in a week. However, don’t overuse it because that might be harmful. Alternatively, you can also use it by mixing it with lemon and few drops of olive oil. Apply the paste on your skin and leave it for 5 minutes and then wash it off.

5. Tomatoes.
Tomatoes are rich in Iycopene which is healthy and beneficial for our skin. Tomatoes are good for skin brightening and reducing sun tans. For having light skin, blend a tomato with curd and apply it on the affected areas. Once it is dry, wash it off with cold water. Apply the paste for at least 10 to 15 minutes. You can even use it as a scrub by mixing tomato juice and lime juice. Then apply it with cotton and rub your skin gently. Wash it off after leaving it for 20 minutes.
